Terms of use

These beta terms set honest expectations for modification research, garage tools, and workshop discovery.

These terms are an operational draft, not a substitute for review by Malaysian counsel. Commercial bookings and payments remain disabled until the operator details and final terms are approved.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. Keep credentials private. Staff accounts are personal and may not be shared. We may restrict access for abuse, attempted privilege escalation, or material breach.

2. What ModKaki provides

ModKaki provides educational modification ideas, private garage tools, and a directory of staff-reviewed workshop profiles. The current beta does not make bookings, accept payments, guarantee quotes, or form a service contract between a member and a workshop.

3. Modification and fitment information

Vehicle information is a starting point, not professional mechanical, safety, insurance, warranty, or legal advice. A part or idea shown for a vehicle does not guarantee fitment. Confirm exact chassis, year, measurements, installation requirements, manufacturer instructions, and Malaysian road rules with qualified professionals before purchase or installation.

4. Workshop listings

Approval publishes a submitted business profile; it is not certification of workmanship, fitment, licensing, stock, price, or road legality. Workshops remain responsible for truthful descriptions and lawful work. ModKaki may request evidence, correct listings, suspend publication, or remove misleading claims.

5. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant ModKaki a limited licence to store, review, and display content needed to provide the service. Do not upload confidential third-party data, infringing media, fake reviews, unsafe instructions, or misleading claims.

6. Fair use and safety

Do not scrape, reverse engineer access controls, interfere with service availability, impersonate others, or use the platform for unlawful activity. We may preserve relevant audit records when investigating abuse.

7. Charges and refunds

The present beta has no paid ModKaki checkout, subscription, booking fee, or hidden fee. The refund notice explains this release state. New paid features require clear pricing and updated terms before any charge.

8. Availability and liability

The beta may change, pause, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, ModKaki does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the result of third-party modification work. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the service and submit an account-deletion request. We may suspend access to protect members, workshops, data, or the service. Material term changes will be dated and presented before continued use where consent is required.
